Course Description |
The course emphasizes on the application of the design process. This includes the importance of project briefing, SWOT analysis, concept formulation, design development and finalization of ideas. The application of the principles of design is further explored in interior design exercise on institutional and exhibition space. The utilization of the computer technology in producing presentation visuals is introduce in this semester.

Define project purpose, objectives & basic research work regarding to the hotel and F&B interior spaces thoroughly based on environment impacts; orientation, circulation, zoning, human factors and basic furniture arrangement. |

Demonstrate practical and technical skills of Interior Design ideas derived from theories and principles of interior design |

Evaluate issues and problems, and propose creative solutions on construction related issues through design thinking. that responds to functional requirements and sound aesthetical qualities. |
