| Course Description |
This course introduces network security threats and methods for defending the network. Combining information on the threats to networks, the devices and technologies used to ensure security, as well as concepts like encryption provides with a solid, broad-based approach to network defense. |

After completing of this course, the students should be able to: 1. Describe information gathering and hacking techniques which related to computer security scope of work 2. Demonstrate the basic process of network intrusion signatures in detecting network threats 3. Justify explicitly the different types of perimeter defenses and methods in secure the network environment |
