Course Description This course provides the framework of financial planning by focusing on managing and organizing personal financial resources which govern the activity for all of the financial planning disciplines. This course covers the fundamentals of personal financial planning for students to improve their understanding of the tools of personal financial planning in order to better manage their financial affairs. It incorporates an overview of personal financial planning and its importance, money management, time value of money, maintaining personal financial statements, tax planning, consumer credit, insurance planning, investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
