This course covers some of the important topics in industrial engineering. The emphasis here is more towards inventory, production and operations management. Topics covered include concepts related to industrial engineering objectives and approaches, functions of production/operations management, concepts and techniques in productivity, procurement and inventory control, production planning and control, maintenance management and other aspects such as forecasting and project management. |
