Course Description The course designed to provide learning the process of implementing the construction works at the project construction site. The learning introduces students to the Malaysian construction industry, management and project management. The learning of project management will include the unique characteristics of construction project, project objectives, and construction supply chain. They will be taught the different activities that take place within the project life cycle to enable them to identify the scope of project management and construction site management, and the role and tasks of the Building Team. Students will be taught the activities of site mobilization and planning. This will be followed with learning on how the project implementation are planned and scheduled, and how project cash flows can be generated from these. The learning on project planning and scheduling will be linked to learning on the use of method statements, resource schedules and resource leveling.
