Course Description This course introduces students to a broad range of Network Operating System (NOS) concepts and administration. The course focuses on the server administration of Windows and Linux system. Topics include: system administration concepts and issues, models of network administration, configuration and maintenance principles, network planning and design as well as brief tutorials on how to configure network hosts, interfaces, routing and services in UNIX and Windows environments.
Transferable Skills Able to install, configure and operate servers and client network in Windows and Linux/Unix environment.
